Part-Time Sales Associate Position

Job Description

Farmers Hardware is looking for a dependable, hard-working Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. This role is a mix of customer service and hands-on logistics. You will be responsible for helping our local customers find what they need, keeping the sales floor stocked, and handling heavy receiving and loading duties.

Schedule & Availability

We are specifically looking for someone available to work afternoons and Saturdays.

• Store Hours: Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Saturday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Heavy Loading & Unloading: Regularly load and unload incoming and outgoing delivery trucks.

• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and help carry heavy items (like feed, seed, or hardware tools) to their vehicles.

• Inventory & Stocking: Unpack merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor and warehouse.

Job Requirements

• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Physical Capability: Must be able to safely and repeatedly lift a minimum of 80 lbs.

• Availability: Must have reliable availability for afternoon shifts and Saturdays.

• Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliable punctuality, and a friendly, customer-first attitude.
